WELCOME

Discover Science with Sarah is a place where families can feel confident that their child will explore all areas of science, be knowledgeable in basic science principles, and receive an individualized education that allows them to pursue personal interests.

Classes are available for all ages.

  • Elementary-aged students will foster a love of science through many hands-on activities.

  • Middle school students will begin a more in-depth study of the basic principles within earth science, physical science, and health science.

  • High school students will study advanced principles of biology, chemistry, and physics, learning current applications, exploring job opportunities, and developing an appreciation for these sciences in their everyday life.

Have every bit of confidence that your child will learn science principles that will prepare them for a career in science if they choose, develop a life-long love and appreciation for science, spark their passions, and enhance their critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Deon Merten, mom of six

“Sarah's science classes are a hidden educational gem!  I always hope my kids will be inspired by their teachers and excited about the things they are studying.  All of my kids have learned so much from Sarah.  She brings her love and excitement for science to every class.  They have had opportunities that just aren't available in typical school labs.  It's exciting stuff.  She teaches them how to take the habits of a Scientist into the rest of life.  I love that she builds their curiosity and knowledge base at the same time.  Most importantly, I am always looking for great people to mentor my kids because their influence isn't only in the content of a class.  Sarah has a heart of gold and is a positive role model."
